Arts North West
Logan is a digital artist who uses a range of digital tools including an iPad, stylus and primarily Procreate, and has dabbled in other programs such as Clip Studio Paint, Ibispaint, Firealpaca, etc. Logan believes that Digital tools will never replace physical media, however, the digital workflow allows them to connect with a broad network of other creators around the world and have their work be viewed more widely.
The freedom to create and to express their feelings and thoughts through these artworks are an important part of their wellbeing, as they’ve created works based on memories, nostalgia and the feelings of day to day life. The digital tools that they have access to allow them to create rapidly without the fear of mistakes as the medium is flexible and forgiving.
Logan has come to learn these programs more and more as time has gone by, only enhancing their experiences with them. They enjoy using bright colours and simple shapes while communicating the complexities of their life experiences.

Artist Statement
I present three works created throughout the year. These pieces often emerged spontaneously, crafted in moments of emotional intensity with little premeditation, born from feelings and realisations that surged unexpectedly without the words to express them. Their simplicity is deliberate, as I intentionally embraced a minimalist approach, allowing the rawness of the emotion to come through without distractions. Vibrant colours were chosen to contrast the underlying bittersweetness, highlighting the complexity of human experience in its most unrefined form.
Whilst each piece holds personal significance for me, I create with the hope that they will resonate with others and evoke reflections on their own life journeys. Even if the connection isn’t immediately apparent, I trust that viewers will find something familiar within them—a shared understanding or feeling that bridges the gap between artist and audience. Each work stems from a pivotal moment, something too profound to articulate with language alone. Through digital art, I aim to communicate emotions that transcend words, offering a visual language of expression. Created quickly in bursts of inspiration, these pieces encapsulate moments of clarity and emotion that I believe others can relate to, finding sense of unity in the human experience.
