Artist Statement
The piece i have handed in for my virtual showcase piece is called ‘Can’t Stop the Freelancer’, a song about freedom of career choice and generally useless laws only used to suppress and disadvantage others, and how even when the law of the land is stacked against you, you have the ability to live freely. It is the final song from my upcoming punk album Hold Open our Eyes, coming out late January.
